I see the $109B Ware spending bill has $700M to move the railroad tracks on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to north of I-10. I don't get it. The tracks were a great storm surge barrier that saved lots of property in Camille and probably helped a bunch during Katrina. The have Highway 90 and I-10 along the coast already. Must be some real-estate scam for the Casino Boys Probably going to eliminate Highway 90 and make the beachfront private or something.
The mississippians are REALLY powerful at the Federal level. They probably can pull this off and probably will profit directly or surreptitiously from it.
Welcome to the official media outlet of M.I.R.T.H., a world-renowned think tank whose mission is explaining the world's complicated issues in a language that everyone can easily understand - the language of common sense. The Institute is named in honor Paul Morphy , native New Orleanian and perhaps the greatest chess player in history. Coincidentally, all M.I.R.T.H. Faculty members are direct descendents of Mr. Morphy.
