I didn't realize this, but scientists are actually trying to figure out teleportation. Granted they can only get an atom or two from here to not-very-far-away, but apparently it can be done. Life imitates art.
At first I thought this was a story related to former Ohio representative Jim Traficant, famous for ending his speeches in the house with the phrase "beam me up". A few years back I read something about an experiment in relativity in which the scientists claim to have achieved time travel by moving an atom across a distance and seeing it arrive on the other side before it left. I still don't get it.
Welcome to the official media outlet of M.I.R.T.H., a world-renowned think tank whose mission is explaining the world's complicated issues in a language that everyone can easily understand - the language of common sense. The Institute is named in honor Paul Morphy , native New Orleanian and perhaps the greatest chess player in history. Coincidentally, all M.I.R.T.H. Faculty members are direct descendents of Mr. Morphy.
