Pollution may save the planet. Educate yourselves.

I have to point out that this was discussed in the pre-blog Morphy mailing list, on March 23, 2006. Clearly we are leading the way in advanced thinking about global issues

I recall that the eruptions of volcanoes can send tons of ash into the air, lowering global temperatures. Clearly what we need is not less C02, but more ash and dust. I propose building large installations that put closely monitored quantities of particulate into the air until a climate balance is achieved. And think of the spectacular sunusets! [1]

I'm against leaded gas. All of that lead in the environment will certainly lower IQs. Remember how things were in the 1970s before unleaded? Nixon, disco, leisure suits. Do we really want to return to that?

I'm thinking the country's collective IQ ain't so hot in nought-six, either. Maybe trans fats are the culprit?
