  • I read a story on NOLA.com yesterday that reported 30% of current residents say they may leave the area in 3 to 5 years. Kind'a makes sense. Why live in a place where you could get wiped out every summer? But then again, San Francisco was rebuilt.

  • I think Nagin's expectations of re-patriation were unrealistic. It's all about the $, and there isn't enough business/commerce to support a larger population right now. That and it's kinds like Lord of the Flies on parts of town.
