It seems hat cow burps contain lots of methane, a greenhouse gas: Greening the Herds: A New Diet to Cap Gas Rather than try to eliminate this methane, why not harness to, say, power our cars and heat our homes? And this brings up the obvious point: how much methane do humans produce? Perhaps this should be subject to a carbon tax.
