2nd and 4th Amendments…never heard of ‘em..

I guess it’s easier to take guns away from law-abiding citizens, including old people, than it is from criminals, but wait…..oops! It’s illegal! And does anyone really think that these people were the ones running around shooting at the police? Come on, Ray. You may want to be the mayor of Chocolate-town, but fortunately for the rest of us New Orleans is still part of Louisiana and the United States. And in those two places, you can’t knock down grandma’s door and take her gun.

  • Well, there is that stuff about a "well regulated militia" in the Bill of Rights. But I see that all but III and perhaps VII are severely eroded today. But I think gun ownership reflects lack of confidence in the police. I prefer the authorities to maintain law and order, but I would own a gun if (for instance) I lived in Baghdad. Or perhaps certain parts of New orleans these days.
